Q. Where are Real Life Marriage Weekend retreats held?

A.Check our schedule to see when we'll be in your area.

Q. How long is an RLM event?

A.Typically two days, beginning Friday evening and ending Saturday evening or Sunday morning, depending on the location.

Q. Can I bring children?

A.No. We have no provision for childcare.  You may bring a nursing infants up to 12 months. We want everyone's attention focused on the important work we need to accomplish during these two days.

Q. Does my registration fee include meals and lodging?

A.No. In order to let you make the most econimically viable plans for your needs, we've left the meals and lodging up to you. Some may want to make this a romantic getaway at a luxurious facility and eat in fine restaurants, while others may want to keep this weekend as affordable as possible. It's your choice.

Q. Is this a Christian event?

A.Yes. Our goal is to keep our weekend Christ-honoring and Biblically sound.

Q. Can I attend without my spouse?

A.Yes, you can. The registration fee is the same either way because it's our hope that most people will attend as couples. But if that's not possible for you for some reason, you are welcome to attend alone.

Q. What if I've been divorced, remarried, am not currently married, etc.?

A.Everyone is welcome. Our job isn't to sort and judge who can attend. Rather, we want to extend hope and encouragement to everyone. Just remember, the teaching will be Christ-centered in nature.

Q. Will there be any times of worship?

A.Yes! Live worship is an important part of Real Life Marriage Weekends.

Q. What should I wear?

A.Attire is casual. Blue jeans are perfectly acceptable. We want you to be comortable and able to concentrate on the events of the weekend.

Q. What if I need to cancel?

A.Registration fees are fully refundable up to seven days in advance. With less than seven days, you will only be able to receive a "credit" toward attending a future RLM event.

Q. What else should we bring?

A.Comfortable attire, notebook or journal and pen or pencil and an open heart, willing to do whatever it takes to make your marriage, your homeschool and your spiritual walk all that it can be.
